7th Grade Course
Spanish I 0708340Z: (Yr.)
Students are introduced to the Spanish language and culture. Emphasis is on oral communication, everyday expressions, written expression, and grammar structures. Successful completion of Spanish I earns students a high school credit.
Must have FAST ELA Level 3 or higher in previous year and have a grade average of “A/B” average in language arts. This is a prerequisite for Spanish II.
8th Grade Courses

Students learn Spanish language and culture. Emphasis is on oral communication, everyday expressions, written expression, and grammar structures in Spanish. Students will read and write passages while continuing to develop oral communication skills in Spanish.
Students must have obtained FAST Reading Level 3 or higher AND obtained an “A/B” in language arts to be in Spanish 1. Students must have obtained FAST Reading Level 3 or higher AND obtained an “A/B” in language arts and Spanish 1 to be in Spanish 2 class.
Spanish 1 is a prerequisite for Spanish II.
