Academic club comprised of students 7th and 8th grade who are inducted after going through an application process. Students must demonstrate the five pillars of the NJHS organization as well as have a 3.25 minimum GPA. SSMS NJHS webpage can be found HERE

The Color Guard Club aims to introduce students to the world of color guard. Students can join with little to no experience! They will learn basic fundamentals of spinning flags, rifles, and sabres. In addition, students participating in this club will get to partner with the J.W. Mitchell HS Marching Mustangs and perform alongside other color guard members in the high school program.>/p>
